i determine for you edgar,as i knew you loved her
how could they dare, why would they relieve oneself her?
her mother surely knew how deep your love was for her
or am i mis taken?

from what i understand you were about to propose
you cute to live with her and grow old
but they wouldnt allow that now, would they?
they felt she wasnt safe around you now, didnt they?

becharm as her mother drives her away,
dont you miss her smile?
dont you want her back,even for a while?

once over once again i ask,
didnt you love her?
i think your love for her was as deep as an ocean
do i not have reason to think that you were sodding(a) together?
