THE backdrop
The large bea that is the upper part of the screen is called the background signal. sometimes (to confuse you) pack may use the term background knowledge to refer to everything you check on the monitor when Windows starts. TASKBAR

OPEN APPLICATION

THE TRAY
The Tray, or taskbar notification area, is used to show icons for programs that are awake and hanging around in the background, like the clock.


DESKTOP ICONS
