Facebook, a popular social networking site, wholeows people to create and custom-make an online profile to connect with others. Although the website provides an opportunity to showcase ones posts and individuality, certain profiles come into question when they seem to project differing qualities than ones they acquire in reality. Facebook provides users with an information page which consists of five categories. This section provides users with all the basic information needed to know an individual on a soulal level. The first category, Basic Information, is where a person can put their networks (i.e. previous schools), sex, birthday, hometown, interests (men, women, or both), what the person is looking for (friendship, relationship, or both), and his/her stands on political views. The second category, ain Information, is where a person lists their interests, favorite music, movies, books, and summarizes him/her self in the About Me section. The third category is Contact Information which is where a person can list his/her email, mobile number, and current hometown. The quaternary category is called Education and Work which is where a person lists his/her former and current education, employers, job title, and job location.

The last category is coroneted Groups, a list of links the user has taken an interest in or liked. The photos section gives users an image of the persons looks and whereabouts. Users are able to upload photos and share photo albums of get-togethers with friends or family at a dinner, party, or event. There is also the Wall, a separate section from the users photo and Info pages that allow his/her Facebook friends to leave a comment and/or video. The excogitation of these pages, sections, and categories is to assist users with expressing their character and individualism.
