The sky was open and the sun was warm. It was a time for him to sum up his journey. The trickle of a drift could be herd in the distance and a light breeze was blowing on the ground, though higher up the tops of the trees revealed a different story. The mickle felt soft beneath him as he dress in the meadow.
As he rose he could odor the ground shifting beneath him; his feet pressing down the earth, the tactual sensation of his body still left in the grass, trampled where he lay. The upstart air revitalized him from his dreary stage to one of alertness.
He began to walk, his feet simply carrying him forward. His time in the meadow was through; he had gotten all he would from that stop on his journey. He didnt know where he was going, only that his feet would take him there. The approaching woodland would pose no problem. With the sun at his back he was walking with the day.
With every step he could feel the photograph of a fallen branch, the give of the leaves, and the fear of the animals as they ran away. The timberland posed no problem. His feet carried him forward. His path mattered not, his purpose mattered not, the forest mattered not.
