Anchorman (2004) Film Review

Anchorman is set in the 1970s and stars Will Ferrel as Ron Burgandy, San Diegos top off rated intelligence activity anchorman. When ambitious female news presenter speedwell Corningstone (Christina Applegate) sets foot in the news office, things do not go down too well with Ron and his team- Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), virtuoso Kind (David Koechner) and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell). Having to adjust to the idea of a female in the workplace, Ron soon finds himself dating speedwell. But one day, a fearful tragedy happens. When Ron carelessly throws a burrito out of his car window at a passing motorcyclist, things get ugly and will in the motorcyclist kicking Rons dog Baxter off the alley bridge and into the sea. Devastated, Ron is unable to pull himself together in clipping to report the news. Seeing her chance, Veronica takes this chance to fill in for Rons news reporting. He chooses to return Veronica, but once inside the bear enclosure, immediately regrets his decision. Luckily, the rest of the news team comes to the rescue, and together they fight the bears!
